  • Personal presence is not required. A Skype video call is required between the Bank and the Customer. The client must have his/her passport ready for online verification.
  • Letter of reference to be validated by the bank.
  • Account opening fee of 100 $ once approved
  • A minimum balance and an initial deposit of 5,000 USD / EUR / GBP must be deposited within one month after the account opening date; the account will be automatically closed if not deposited.
  • US companies or citizens are accepted for account opening.
  • Account opening time. The account will be activated within 3-5 business days after the bank receives all the completed forms and relevant information.

For the company:

A set of legalized corporate documents including:

  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Memorandum and Articles of Association
  • Documents confirming the appointment of the business leaders and the secretary (if applicable)
  • Document confirming the location of the head office
  • Certificate(s) of sharing
  • Certificate of good reputation if the company is more than 12 months old
  • Copy of the corporate structure, identifying the ultimate owner(s) and ultimate beneficiary(ies)
  • Valid license (if applicable)
For each director, shareholder, secretary, signing officer and ultimate beneficial owner:
  • Notarized copy of a valid passport. The passport must be signed and the signature must match the signature on the application form. The photograph must be clear and of good quality.
  • Original or notarized copy of utility bill / bank statement dated within 3 months as verification of residential address.
  • Original or notarized copy of the banker's reference letter, dated less than 3 months ago.
  • Power of Attorney (if applicable)

For each corporate officer (where the officers or shareholders of the company are legal entities), please provide:

A set of legalized corporate documents including:

  • Copy of constitutional documents (certificate of incorporation, articles of association, etc.).
  • Copy of the register of companies (which includes the register of shareholders, directors and secretary).
  • Copy the organizational plan.
  • Certificate of good standing.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a list of countries / regions / citizens / residents restricted for account opening: Mexico, countries listed by the FOCA, all CIS countries (including Russia, Ukraine and Belarus), several EU countries (including Romania and Latvia), African, South American and Balkan countries.

  • Documents that are not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.
  • Once all documentation is available, please send electronic copies to our representative for review; incomplete or incomplete forms can cause delays in the account opening process.

If you are conducting an activity without the required license or authorization granted by a competent authority in a jurisdiction, Business Finance International will not be able to assist you with the establishment of the business or the opening of a bank account related to such unauthorized activity.

  • The approximate timeframe for the allocation of accounts is 3-5 days after receipt of the original documents by the bank.


ABC Banking Corporation can be considered a low-cost bank with regard to inbound/outbound payments and account maintenance. Bank charges for incoming payments are zero. Outgoing payment fees are 50 USD (free of charge), excluding bank charges. The monthly maintenance fee for a USD account is zero and for a CHF account, its deposit fee is 50 CHF + 1% PA on the credit balance. Internet banking is free of charge.
